Snow White and the Huntsman
Synopsis: Snow White is the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen. Unable to tolerate the insult to her vanity, the evil queen decides that Snow White must die. The queen sends a huntsman to kill Snow White. However the huntsman finds himself unable to murder the innocent young woman, and instead ends up training her to become a warrior capable of threatening the queen’s reign.
Review: I went into this movie with great expectations. And left with less then that.
The film took your classic Snow White story and gave it an extra kick. With one huge problem. Leaving Snow White on the Side lines. From the first fifteen minuets you can tell despite the title, it’s not her story. It’s the evil queens. Charlize Theron stole the show! She did an amazing job. And left Kristen Stewart in the snow. Although Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin did their part to help out Stewart. It wasn’t enough.
Although the cinematography and soundtrack was brilliant, there was a lot of unnecessary scenes through the film with some creepy bird faeries. None the less, the film is worth watching at least once. But go in with somewhat low expectations.
I give it 6 out of 10 Stars.
